DSL, or Digital Subscriber Line is a term referring to a high speed
internet connection via telephone cables. DSL providers are abundant and
choosing the right one depends on what you are looking for.
DSL also has its counterpart SDSL, or Symmetric Digital Subscriber
Line. Regular DSL usually has a high download bandwidth with a
relatively low upload speed. SDSL on the other hand is a symmetric
connection. For example and SDSL connection might have 1.5 MBPS download
and a 1.5 MPBS upload where its DSL counterpart would have maybe a 1.5
MPBS download and a 128 kbps upload. |
