A Whistleblower is an employee or customer of a company who find out
about illegal business activities without the consumer knowing about it
and report it to the government.
In recent years the term whistleblower has been thrown around a lot
because of financial misdoings. However, a whistleblower may also report
discrimination, harassment, medical, or really anything that is illegal.
Due to the danger a whistleblower could be in if the company they
reported found out about their identity, whistleblowers are protected by
the law. |
